First day of my life

Here to make a difference.

First day of my life

I was born in 1970 in a little City close to Montreal in the province of Quebec, Canada where I was raised by a French speaking family.  In Quebec most people speak French but the way we speak is a little different that you might hear in France.   For example, you might want to compare US English to that of people from England, Ireland or Scotland… there are differences in expressions and accents.

In 1970, the average cost of a new house was $23 450.  The cost of a gallon of Gas was only 36 cents and a US postage Stamp was only 6 cents.

Important events also happened that year; Paul McCartney announced that The Beatles had disbanded. A Cyclone in Bangladesh killed 1/2 a million people. A Boeing 747 made its first commercial passenger flight to London and the First Earth Day was celebrated.

On June 13th, 1970 at 6:00 am… I was crying like a baby… but then… I was just a few seconds old.  My 3-year old sister had a new brother and that completed the family.

Maybe it was my crying that motivated my Dad to get fixed… so that was it for any others that might come along.

My first word…. Happy!

I believe it was a state of mind that determined my life’s mission… To make people around me Happy and live a Happy Life!
