PRESS RELEASE

CEO Seeks Schools with Special Needs for Project
Offers to Install Special Software for Students with Autism

LAS VEGAS, NV – April 26, 2012 – A CEO and grandfather offers to install specially designed software in schools that have students with autism. John LeSieur, CEO of People CD Inc. and grandfather to Zachary who is on the autism spectrum, announced the offer as a way of giving back for the success of their just recently launched Zac Picto, a software especially designed for students with autism.

The project, named Zac Connection, looks for 5 schools with students on the autism spectrum, has at least one computer in the classroom with access to the Internet and with parents willing to participate in the project. People CD will provide them Zac Picto with full support, help setup the content and will also help connect students and parents together. Zac PIcto is a software completely free of charge for professionals and parents.

“On Autism Awareness day we have officially launched Zac Picto and already have received tons of positive feedbacks from parents and professionals,” said John LeSieur, People CD CEO.

To qualify for the project, schools may register at www.zacpicto.com/zac-connection. Parents, students, teachers, alumni associations and other interested parties may nominate their schools to the project.

“At a rate of 1 in every 88 children on the autism spectrum, it’s time to do bold moves and empower people with autism,” added LeSieur.

More information on Zac Picto and the Zac Connection project may be seen on www.zacpicto.com or email info@peoplecd.com.

Dear Friend,

Over 18 months ago, I started a gigantic project dedicated to autism and other special needs. It all began while I was on tour for Zac Browser v1.5. It was very exciting to share the stage with a notorious group of people such as the inventor of Twitter, people from Google, Disney and more.

Another rewarding experience was that of meeting our users, their parents, teachers and other users of our technology.

After speaking with hundreds of parents and professionals, I realized that an important piece of technology was missing to assist them trough their journey with autism so I started mapping out what is known today as Zac Picto.

Zac Picto’s objective is to be the ultimate tool for parents, teachers, therapists and other caregivers while Zac Browser is a tool to be used by people on the spectrum.

Over the past few weeks, I have collected names and email addresses of people who are willing to help. I wish to move forward by dividing the group into 2 separate teams… so please let me know which of the two teams you would like to be associated with.

• Zac Browser: Building content, searching out the best sites, tools and translation that will be used directly by people on the autism spectrum, online community.

• Zac Picto: Building content, pictograms, pictogram sequences, videos, activities, putting together instructions and teaching methods to be used by parents, teachers, therapists and other caregivers, online community.

In order to move forward I would ask that you to send me an email at friends@johnlesieur.com and please let me know which of the two teams you would like to be associated with: Team Zac Picto or Team Zac Browser.

I will keep you in touch with the next steps…

Thank you for your kindness -
Your Friend,
John

Here’s my New Year’s resolution for 2012: No More Resolutions!

From now on I’m setting goals. If you’re like me, you set resolutions on New Year’s Day and all too often they’re forgotten by January 10th. But a goal! A goal you keep working on until it’s accomplished. And until you make your goal, it’s always whispering to you, “I’m not done yet. I know you haven’t forgotten. Back to work.”

I’ve set my goals for 2012 and they’re the most important of my career. Those of us who create technology are just like rock stars, except we don’t have to be good looking or sing. Because we start working in the shadows, with no glamour. Our goal is always to create something that makes an impact in people’s lives. Once we know what we want, we share it with the team, it begins to be transformed and we tweak it and finally end up with the final version.

Then for months it’s under development. Each day you’re so excited, I’m so excited, seeing the new baby coming alive. But until it’s ready to be revealed, there’s nothing for the fans to see.

2011 was a year mostly in the shadows for me. But 2012! 2012 will be for me an exciting year! We’re finally releasing the baby we’ve been working on all these long months.

What’s your goal for 2012?

Posted in Blog

I was born in 1970 in a little City close to Montreal in the province of Quebec, Canada where I was raised by a French speaking family. In Quebec most people speak French but the way we speak is a little different that you might hear in France. For example, you might want to compare US English to that of people from England, Ireland or Scotland… there are differences in expressions and accents.

In 1970, the average cost of a new house was $23 450. The cost of a gallon of Gas was only 36 cents and a US postage Stamp was only 6 cents.

Important events also happened that year; Paul McCartney announced that The Beatles had disbanded. A Cyclone in Bangladesh killed 1/2 a million people. A Boeing 747 made its first commercial passenger flight to London and the First Earth Day was celebrated.

On June 13th, 1970 at 6:00 am… I was crying like a baby… but then… I was just a few seconds old. My 3-year old sister had a new brother and that completed the family.

Maybe it was my crying that motivated my Dad to get fixed… so that was it for any others that might come along.

My first word…. Happy!

I believe it was a state of mind that determined my life’s mission… To make people around me Happy and live a Happy Life!

I have finally decided to include a new dimension to my presence online.

I would hope that this site will provide a more in-depth view of my story and mission.
It doesn’t mean I won’t sometimes talk technology here but when I do it will be in a “non-geek” way…

Please don’t expect never ending stories… I will be brief but come back more often.
